New Search Engine only for Internet TV Shows
Jump Start News – We finally have a TV Guide on the Internet for online video programming and it is even out of beta. The search feature is robust, accurate and actually works.
It is called Clicker and the website calls itself “a complete programming guide for Internet television.” Given the explosion the Internet has witnessed recently in the number of television and other entertainment shows that are now available online, a vertical search engine for this niche was to be expected. According to a survey conducted by comScore, over 168 million Internet users in the United States watched online video programming during September 2009 with more than 26 billion online video programs viewed during the month. The search engine offers advanced features such as user generated content, Facebook connectivity and the Search Within feature which allows searches within individual episodes.
